This Blog will discuss politics, government, corruption, police, S.I.U., courts, education, min. of attorney general, min. of labour, v.o.i.c.e. and other current and past events of interest to concerned citizens. In the "About me" section to the right and down I have included the names of persons whom I have tremendous respect for. Their influence on me however has been primarily environmental (and personal) and this is therefore a disclaimer that all words posted on this Blog/Website are mine and I alone am responsible for them. I say this with the greatest respect and affection to my friends.

HARPER GOVERNMENT CONTINUE TO MALIGN THE ACTIONS OF A SEVERELY INJURED FIFTEEN YEAR OLD

Unbelieveable is the only word I have for the behaviour of the federal Conservatives. They continue to condemn so called "heinous" acts committed by a wounded fifteen year old in the middle of a firefight. These acts apparently include throwing one grenade and then having the gall to survive his multiple wounds. Omar Khadr is approaching his release date and the Tories will not permit him to be interviewed beforehand. They have the usual bureaucratic and political rhetoric and excuses for not so doing. It seems apparent that they are afraid that media outlets might find, despite the worst intentions of U.S. and Canadian authorities, a relatively sane and stable individual. One who long ago was ready to be reintegrated into society. No legitimate excuse has ever been offerred for his thirteen years plus incarceration. If every combatant who killed one soldier had to serve thirteen years jail time there wouldn't be any space for our everyday thieves and robbers. Today's Waterloo Region Record carrys this story "Let us interview Khadr: media outlets".
