This Blog will discuss politics, government, corruption, police, S.I.U., courts, education, min. of attorney general, min. of labour, v.o.i.c.e. and other current and past events of interest to concerned citizens. In the "About me" section to the right and down I have included the names of persons whom I have tremendous respect for. Their influence on me however has been primarily environmental (and personal) and this is therefore a disclaimer that all words posted on this Blog/Website are mine and I alone am responsible for them. "STREET CHECKS" VERSUS "CARDING" ie. BULLSHIT VERSUS HORSE MANURE

Carding in Toronto is no more illegal than street checks here in Waterloo Region. According to Toronto that is. Similarily here in Waterloo Region our Police Chief assures us that "street checks" simply aren't the same as "carding" in Toronto. What is the similarity between our Police Chief and the Toronto spokesperson? Simple, they are both bullshiters. Motor vehicle operators by law must provide identification including driver's licences, proof of insurance and motor vehicle ownership papers. Pedestrians on the other hand can and do tell the police to go fuck themselves when the police demand identification. Do police resent being told to go fuck themselves? Does a bear like honey?

Today's Waterloo Region Record carrys this story titled "Police do "street checks" when they suspect suspicious behaviour". I sincerely hope that someone at the Record will publish a followup story to the serious crap that was published today allegedly giving police rights they do not have here in Canada. Russia yes, Canada no.

  1. Can you say race baiting? This article has selectively choosen facts to support a narrative. It is a disgusting piece of propaganda. Your blog would make sense if you were more critical of the article before writing it. The writer of this article didn't even ask if people carded had comitted an offence. It is implied that they didn't but there is no stats there. He also didn't ask if they were criminals, sex offenders, gang members or known to the police. If they had court terms to abide by. Were on probation, parole, undertaking, recognizance, stautory release or maybe even a restraining order. Or maybe they were with somoene who was on one of these. If they were carded instead of a report being completed and entered that way. Maybe that way it wouldn't show up when you get a records check. Who knows because these questions are outside the narative.

Oh and the difference between Toronto and Waterloo is that Toronto gave officers a quota they had to meet.
